Congratulations to Making Space for winning four Great British Care Awards!

In the North West regional final, Phil Orton, the Making Space chief people officer, took home the Outstanding Contribution Award in recognition of his 30 year career in care. 

Team leader Corinne Riley was named the Frontline Leader of the Year, and the Manchester South Housing team were named Social Care Covid Heroes. 

The Darlington Rapid Response Team also took home the Social Care Covid Hero award, for the North East region. 

All four winners will now be heading to the national finals in March.

Eighteen entries, 16 finalists, four winners. What a great result!
